Creating a functional place to call home while making sure that the home can serve a variety of needs. Our homeowners wanted a place to relax, to cook with family and friends, and to host parties overlooking the Spa Creek Drawbridge.
Through the use of careful planning, and a variety of different lighting design techniques we create a purposeful lighting design that framed the view. The open floor plan had areas for Board Games, Lounging, Dining, and Cooking. To make sure each space had an appropriate level of light, and excellent dimming capability we were able to define these areas. Together with Courtney Mullen Interiors we selected decorative lighting, and made sure that lighting reflected the interior design intent.
The details for steplighting and handrailing on the exterior were carefully selected and detail with the help of the craftsmen at Lynbrook of Annapolis. This project was a true example of how team work makes the dream work!
