Tasked with striking a chord between creative, fun atmosphere and hospitality. The Team at SRD created a balance lighting design approach embracing daylight, and tunable white technologies. This 25,000 SF office space in NOMA . Tunable white and RGBW flood lights fill the space’s 16’+ high ceilings. The RGBW uplighting at night creates a brand mark for city passersby , either for hosting networking events, or Hickok Cole’s green . Open ceilings led to a case study in vertical illumination. Utilizing linear wall mounted fixtures to highlight pin-up walls and to display their extensive , and beloved art work collections. Tunable white in the large meeting room on Level 2 allows designers and architects to toggle between color temperatures during presentations to be able to emulate a hospitality space, corporate office, and/or museum. This allows for better rendering of finish samples, and helps in the cct selection process for their clients.
